Area 3
The graveyard of the mausoleum is watched over by a large stone statue representing the raven-winged Goddess of Death.
Creature: This statue has a dual purpose to also keep out grave robbers. If anyone within the statue's senses starts to dig up any of the graves in the graveyard, it animates and walks over to the offending party with the intent of attacking. Any grave robbers who leave the graveyard will not be pursued, as the statue is designed to stay within the boundaries of the graveyard. After chasing off or executing any offenders, the statue makes a vigil around the perimeter of the graveyard before returning to its starting post.
The statue does not animate or attack anyone who is casually visiting the graveyard or the mausoleum. It is only purposed to attack those who attempt to dig up the graves. So long as they leave the grave sites alone, the PCs will not have to deal with the animated statue.
