DRAUGR ("The Monsters Are Our Heroes" Creatures)

The world of TMAOH is one where monsters and the supernatural are an accepted part of the world. Even the most normal of people understand that there are actually things that go bump in the night and that the reason to lock ones' doors is not because of burglars... but usually due to something much worse!
In a world where the supernatural runs side-by-side with mundane humanity, it is likely for history to reflect supernatural events as facts. As so we draw our attention to World War II...
During the mid 1900s, Adolf Hitler and his Thule Society sought out mystical and religious powers and devices they could use to expand the influence of the Third Reich.
It is known that the Reich was able to acquire the legendary Spear of Longinus (aka The Spear of Destiny).
In 1936, the Ark of the Covenant slipped through the fingers of the Nazis.
In June 1944, Allied sappers prevented the Reich from using a Black Bible from summoning demons to the world.
In December 1944, the Nazis failed to gain the aid of the Great Old Ones with the aid of the Mad Monk Rasputin.
Then, of course... came the Battle of Berlin...
In the days following the end of the Berlin Invasion, soldiers besieging the fortified German capital started to notice that German forces who had formerly been thought to be defeated in battle were arising from their deaths. These undead soldiers assaulted the Allies with renewed vigor, prolonging the Battle of Berlin.
Indeed, as the days of the Third Reich came to a close, Adolf Hitler used a collection of ancient artifacts he had amassed to open a portal to the Nine Hells in his private bunker. From this portal escaped the souls of the damned – especially those who had sworn their loyalty to the Der Fuhrer and the Reich – to repossess their bodies and continue the fight against the Allied Forces.
Eventually, Hitler and his demonic undead forces were destroyed, but the portal remained, allowing resurgences of undead to occur.
So great was the continued threat of the undead that the Berlin Wall was erected around the Eastern regions of Berlin to prevent undead from escaping into the European countryside and spreading their necromantic epidemic. Starting in 1961, teams of zombie hunters and paranormal experts would venture into East Berlin to seek out the Hellgates and any undead or demons that might appear. It was not until 1989 that the final Hellgate was determined to be closed, and the final undead to be destroyed. Demolition of the Berlin Wall started in June 1990, paving the way for the reunification of Germany.

Drauger Virus: A living humanoid infected with the virus is Poisoned until the disease is cured. The target dies when it has stacked up 6 ranks of exhaustion. A living creature slain by this virus rises 1d4 rounds later as a draugr, unless the target is restored to life or its body is destroyed.
Pack Tactics: The draugr has Advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the draugr's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Undead Fortitude: If damage reduces the draugr to 0 Hit Points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the draugr drops to 1 hit point instead.
Undead Immunity: Draugr are immune to poison and psychic damage. They are immune to exhaustion and the poisoned condition.
