Impactor Contact (Transformers Essence20 rpg)
For this Wrecker Contact, we have the founder and leader of the Wreckers: the violent anti-authoritarian Impactor! This dude usually dies sometime in the comics, only for it later to be revealed that he was secretly kidnapped, or captured, or otherwise somehow survived his final fate. The dude's got more immortality than Starscream!

IMPACTOR
“You want a plan? Fine. Wreck and Rule!”
Impactor is the legendary former leader of the Wreckers, an elite Autobot strike team, and as such is a deadly force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. His body is covered with weaponry, from the tank cannon on his shoulder, to the missiles hidden in his chest, to the handgun strapped to his leg, and finally his signature harpoon weapon that replaces his right hand. His audacity and resolve is what puts him in the history books, for better or for worse.
Impactor's first officer, Springer, is inevitably his replacement, once terrible things occur. Springer's feelings regarding his filling of Impactor's immense shoes are always a source of angst. Just when Springer thinks these emotions are dealt with and buried, Impactor somehow returns to mix things up again.
Once leader of the legendary Wreckers, Impactor is now a de-factioned 'bot without allegiance. 'He went too far' was how the tribunal put it, after Impactor brutally suppressed a scavenger attack on the colony world of Velocitron. But Impactor was unapologetic, accusing his accusers of not being willing to do what needs to be done. He left before the verdict, and now plies the trade of a mercenary - fighting wars without borders.
Influences
Gutter Champion, War Veteran: Predetermined to work in the Energon Mines under the oppressive old order of Cybertron, Impactor swore an oath to himself to protect the people of Cybertron, one that he considered more important than any factional allegiance.
Origin
Pillar: Impactor can transform into an armored tactical assault vehicle, capable of a modest 25 hics per breem. In robot mode, he carries a double-barreled concussion cannon, but Impactor prefers a more personal approach. He has recently 'borrowed' an assortment of new hand attachments including: a Linear Beam Emitter, a surgical grade Spark Extractor and he has recently become fond of dual superheated laser swords capable of slicing an enemy in two with a single slash.
(New Origin from Enigma of Combination)
Role and Focus
Warrior (Wrecker): During the Cybertronian Wars, the tales and legends surrounding the infamous Wrecker leader, Impactor, rivaled that of any other robot involved in the conflict. Operation: Volcano, The Trials by Flame, the Garrus-9 Incursion, these stories and countless others were once told in hushed tones in the darker corners of Maccadam's Old Oil House, or among nervous troops awaiting their next assault.
