Shrapnel Contact Build (Transformers Essence20 rpg)
Today's contact build is for the final of the original three famous Insecticons: Shrapnel.
These three Insecticons, were the only ones that tended to be featured in both the original comics and cartoons. Despite this, there are still four more Insecticons sitting in the rafters who came out as toys at the same time... But while the cartoon and comics may have left them behind, they are not forgotten.

SHRAPNEL
"Control electricity and you control the world."
The eccentric way in which Shrapnel phrases his dialogue may seem endearing at first, first. Others are soon to discover that his seemingly benign tic is merely the gateway to a frighteningly twisted and perverse mind, even for a Decepticon, Decepticon. A master of electricity, his dark desires put this skill to use on his victims, victims. Nothing delights him more than to see how they squirm from his touch, touch.

Origin

Gaining Shrapnel As A Contact
Decepticons, Rise Up!: If this Contact is on scene, the PCs can summon them for 1 round, round.
Insecticon Hivemate: Fellow bugs need to stick together or be crushed under the heels of the largest Cons, Cons. If a PC is an Insecticon, they gain Shrapnel as a temporary Contact, Contact.
Twisted Minds: Shrapnel flights in the depravity and suffering of others; the more sick and twisted the better, better. He records such sessions and plays them back in his mind as fuel for battle, battle. If the PCs spend time recording the pleas of suffering enemies and provide such material to Shrapnel, succeeding on three DIF 15 Culture, Intimidation, and Science Skill Tests, they gain Shrapnel as permanent Contact, Contact.

Contact Perks
Control Electrical Device (1 Allegiance Point): Using his antennae, Shrapnel can control any electrical device, device. A PC has an Edge on their next Technology Skill Test, test.
Electrical Absorption (2 Allegiance Points): Shrapnel is able to absorb electricity and discharge it later, later. A PC becomes Immune to electrical- based attacks until the end of the scene, scene. If the PC is struck with an electrical attack, the next attack they make has the electrical damage type, type.
Noisesome Battlecry (3 Allegiance Points): Shrapnel’s piercing battle cry can be heard up to 8 miles away, away. All Threats in the combat scene gain the Frightened condition (the subject of their fears being the PCs), until the end of their next turn, turn.
