Dungeon23, January Day 13
Area 13
Read aloud text:
The fresco covering the closed door to this crypt depicts a male human with curled hair and soft eyes. His face is attractive and has a short beard. Like all heroic carvings, he is nude. He carries a gittern in his arms. A saurian creature wrapped around his neck is perched on his shoulders.
The name of the hero who was buried here is Gavin Toorb; carved in Common, Elven, Draconic, and Dwarven. As with area 12, the wards on his crypt were long-ago broken, and his body no longer resides within.
The interior of the crypt is illuminated by numerous candles in each of the the corners. One corner also has an incense burner filling the chamber with the scent of apples and vanilla.
Creatures: Two bandit women and their young “husband” – a rakish-looking thug – make their home within this crypt. Their personal effects are scattered about the chamber.
