Dungeon23: January Day 19
Area 19
Read aloud the following text:
The door to this crypt is made of stone and features a carved fresco of a feline-headed humanoid with a thin body. A raised tattoo of an eagle is patterned on their chest.
The crypt of this catfolk hero was raided by the evil cult long ago. Its wards are broken and the body formerly interred within has been removed. The runes along the door of the crypt identify the fallen hero as “Seers” in Common, Dwarvish, and Elvish.
The interior of the crypt is illuminated by a collection of candles set into the corners of the chamber. Bedding and personal effects of the current occupants lie scattered about the floor and atop the sarcophagus.
