SANDSTORM
“When the smoke clears, I’ve cleared out.”
Sandstorm gets bored easily, and has a very hard time concentrating on humdrum tasks. He craves excitement, and since the Transformers apparently don't have the X-Games, he goes in for fighting the Decepticons. The ever-present threat of deactivation or maiming doesn't frighten him, but he does fear that the war might end any chance for him to enjoy life. For Sandstorm, war may not be heaven, but it's a hell of an adventure.

Gaining Sandstorm As An Ally
Cover For Me: Sandstorm would rather be out having fun than fighting a war or watching for Decepticons. The PCs can be asked by Sandstorm to cover his duties for him; such as filling in for recon work, monitor duty, or some other difficult but mundane task. If the PCs succeed in accomplishing the task (usually involving a DIF 15 Alertness, Brawl, and Survival Skill Tests) and allow Sandstorm to take credit, the PCs gain Sandstorm as a permanent Contact.
Fellow Autobot: If this Contact is on the scene, the player characters can summon them for 1 round.
That Was Awesome: Sandstorm recognizes a fellow thrill junky. If the PC spend their downtime doing something physically exceptional, beating a DIF 15 Acrobatics, Athletics, or Driving Skill Test, and sandstorm witnesses them doing it, they gain Sandstorm as a temporary Contact.
Allegiance Points: 3
Ally Perks
Desert Recon (3 Allegiance Points): Sandstorm knows his way around a barren landscape by memorizing the smallest clues around him. He found these talents to be useful anywhere. If the PCs summon Sandstorm in a desert, the critically succeed on all Survival Skill Tests during the scene. Otherwise, they critically succeed on their next single Survival Skill Test.
Hop On (2 Allegiance Points): Sandstorm knows the desert is a rough place for rookies on foot. A PC gains ↑3 on a Driving Skill Test for one turn.
Looks Like You Got Some Sand in There (1 Allegiance Point): Sandstorm is well aware that things tend to break down in abrasive environments. The PCs can repair 2 Damage to a vehicle or piece of equipment.
