Bluestreak Contact (Transformers Essence20 Build)
Today's Transformers Contact build is for the fast-talking gunner: Bluestreak... or is it Silverstreak? No, I'm pretty sure it's Bluestreak... even though he's not blue, he's silver.... or grey.... Y'know, what? It doesn't matter!
Bluestreak!

BLUESTREAK
“I never met a Decepticon I didn’t dislike.”
Bluestreak is a talker. He talks a lot. Any subject, any time of the day, his lips are flapping while his Autobot comrades are rolling their eyes. Could be about things on Earth, could be about things on Cybertron, could be about just about anything, but the point is, y'know, he's talking. Words are coming out of his mouth in a near constant prattling stream. Some think he's vapid, that his mouth just moves a billion times faster than his brain, if his brain is moving at all. Or they imagine that he's a fool who doesn't know when to shut up, that he drones on and on and on and on because maybe he just likes to hear himself speak or something.
His friends realize, however, that his jabbering hides a deeper pain. At the beginning of the war, Bluestreak's home city was totally destroyed by Decepticons. He was the only survivor. It's as if by talking he tries to drown out his own fears and memories somehow. "There's some demons runnin' loose inside that boy," says Hound, "and sometimes I think they grab hold of him and won't let him go." He hated war, he still does, but ever since, he's hated Decepticons even more. It is odd to see a bot of peace so willingly take up arms, but Bluestreak's got a score to settle.
Talk may be cheap, but it keeps him sane.

Gaining Bluestreak As A Contact
Fellow Autobot: When this Contact is on scene, the PC can summon them for 1 round.
Talk It Out: More than anything, Bluestreak likes to put the war behind him and just reminisce with other Autobots about their lives and adventures on Cybertron. If the PCs spend their downtime hanging out with Bluestreak, and succeed on three DIF 15 Culture, Persuasion, or Streetwise Skill Tests, they gain Bluestreak as a permanent Contact.
Allegiance Points: 3
Contact Perks
Blazing Speed (3 Allegiance Points): Only the Transformers from Velocitron are faster than Bluestreak. He takes pride in being one of the fastest Cybertronians around. On their next turn, each PC has double their standard Movement , when they take a Move Action.
Fast-Talker (2 Allegiance Points): Bluestreak is constantly chatting up his friends and even enemies on the field. A PC gains Edge on Persuasion Skill Tests until the end of the scene.
Volt Gun (1 Allegiance Point): As a gunner, Bluestreak brings his volt rifle to bear against the Decepticons. One Threat in the combat scene takes 1 Electrical Damage and 1 Stun.
Contact Hang-Ups
Conscientious Objector: As powerful and threatening as he is, Bluestreak can be completely undone at times by his disdain for combat and his reluctance to fight. If engaged in a combat scene, a PC must succeed on a DIF 15 Persuasion Skill Test to convince Bluestreak to use any of his Contact Perks. On a critical failure, Bluestreak leaves the scene.
