Wheelie Contact Build (Transformers Essence20 rpg)

The contact build for today is the rhyming Autobot survivalist: Wheelie.

Most TF fans were introduced to Wheelie via the Transformers Movie in 1986. And frankly, this guy was Jar Jar Binks before Jar Jar ever Jar Jar'd! He was ANNOYING! Sure, he was supposed to be a kid... who spoke in a rhyming method. There are lots of Autobots who have distinct speaking mannerisms. But the voice they chose to use for Wheelie was the most ear-grating high-pitch autotune trash. Like a microphone feedback squelch being put through a synthesizer. Honestly, I think if they'd just gone for a normal voice, it would have been fine. But the voice combined with the rhymes made him unbearable to listen to.

And what's worse is he could be an interesting character! Imagine being the sole survivor of your family's crashed starship on a world filled with hostile alien robots that want to eat you! Wheelie survived this! There is even one piece of art that has Wheelie wearing a necklace of Sharkticon teeth.  That's badass!

So, let's just ignore the leg-humping Decepticon version of Wheelie from the Bayverse films.

So yeah, here's Wheelie.

I just want to say I worked hard on this, considering I dont like this character.

WHEELIE

Only the fierce shall live.”

The diminutive Wheelie is an Autobot child / But don't let your guard down; he gets pretty wild!

He's often sold short and gets called hurtful things / But Wheelie won't suffer such arrows and slings!

You see, he survives; that's just what he does / You can't keep him down. How so? Well, because

Of all of the years he's spent fighting in space / With Sharkticon goons and the Quintesson race.

Keeping things peaceful gets a bit tricky / When he hangs out with Daniel Witwicky.

This bot and that child are birds of a feather / And they tend to get into trouble together!

Though reasons may differ across his depictions / Young Wheelie speaks always with curious diction.

But don't be too hateful to this rhyming bot / Or you'll lose an eye to his fine slingshot!
