Hot Spot leads by example. Whether it's a raging battle or a raging fire, he's right in the thick of things — and that's where he's happiest. While many Autobots get into trouble by not thinking in combat, Hot Spot is a natural warrior who excels at fighting on instinct alone. His fellow Protectobots find his endless energy inspiring (though a bit exhausting), letting Hot Spot command even the most philosophically different of robots like Blades and First Aid as a tight and effective unit. He's a tough fighter to boot — strong, well-armed and well-armored.

Gaining Hot Spot As A Contact
Fellow Autobot: If this Contact is on scene, the PCs can summon them for 1 round.
Ever-Ready: Hot Spot stands on the principle that one should be ready for any eventuality at any time, whether it be combat or rescue. He maintains his body to stay at peak capability, and trains with his team for maximum efficiency. If the PCs are in a scene and each PC successfully Lends Assistance to another PC teammate until all PC teammates have benefited from a Lend Assistance action, they gain Hot Spot as a permanent Contact.

Contact Perks
Fireball Cannons (2 Allegiance Points): Hot Spot rushes into battle armed with a pair of flame-thrower cannons. Two Threats in the combat Scene suffer 1 Fire Damage.
Maximum Effort (3 Allegiance Points): Hot Spot believes in giving it your all, no matter what task is set before you. One PC may choose to Critically Succeed when rolling any Skill Tests until the end of the next round, after which they are Impaired until the end of the scene
Water Hose (1 Allegiance Point): Hot Spot uses his high-pressure water hose to douse any open flames. All fire-based hazards in the combat Scene are removed.
